PE Manholes Quality requirements are on the increase in all fields. The construction industry has not escaped this phenomenon. One of the improvements that Aegua wishes to address is that of:

Manholes for drainage systems

  • At the current time, manholes are often constructed on site from masonry or using partially pre-fabricated elements. This type of construction has the following drawbacks:
  • Extremely long construction time
  • Lifting equipment required in site when using pre-fabricated elements
  • Imperfect finish:
  • Sealing not guaranteed
  • Sump at incorrect level
  • Poor quality of base of manhole

In comparison, pre-fabricated polyethylene manholes have the following multiple advantages:

  • Lightweight but extremely robust elements
  • Full range of system elements (E/S connection, inter-element coupling, hole saw, access rungs)
  • Guaranteed quality
  • Fully leak proof from top to bottom
    • Guaranteed environmental protection
  • Extremely smooth sump
    • Excellent flow characteristics
  • Quality/Price ratio
  • Completely recyclable
  • Available in diameters: 600, 800 and 1000 mm
  • Connections from Ø110 to 400 mm

Material and Fabrication

  • Pre-fabricated manholes, manufactured using the rotomoulding process
  • Basic raw material is polyethylene
  • 100% virgin raw material
  • Density 934-940 kg/m³.
